Alexandros Behlioulis is a Post-Doc researcher at the Economics Department of the University of Piraeus. His research interests are in the fields of macroeconomics, monetary economics, and the financial innovations.

He has published articles in journals in the areas of his expertise, including the Journal of Banking and Finance. He is currently teaching courses at the Bachelor Program of the Economics Department of the University of Piraeus (Economic Policy, Computer Science with SAP, Special Topics on Monetary Economics) under National Strategic Reference Funds grant (2018-2020), and also courses in applied econometric in the graduate and PhD programs. Alexandros holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Piraeus, a M.Sc. in Economics from the National Technical School of Athens, a Vocational certificate in Accounting from Athens University of Economics and Business, and a BA in Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
